Chowdhary & Co are regulated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and are registered to carry out audit work in the UK. Details about our audit registration can be viewed at www.auditregister.org.uk under reference number C007105435.

We are based in West London with a branch office in Morden in Surrey with over 30 years experience in providing audit, accountancy and bookkeeping service, with ongoing corporate and personal tax planning advice.

The clients are mainly small to medium sized businesses drawn from a broad range of sectors.

Meet the Team

Senior Partner

Bhupindar Singh Chowdhary FCA

Qualifications: Chartered Accountant
Membership: Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales

Bhupindar qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1975. After training with a small firm of Chartered Accountants, he started his post-qualifying professional career in 1975 in the Audit department of London’s premier accounting firm, Coopers & Lybrand, now known as Pricewater House Coopers. He had a successful career with Pricewater House Coopers and advanced to the position of a senior taxation manager. 

In 1984 he left to start his own firm Chowdhary & Co. Since then, Chowdhary & Co has gone from strength to strength under his guidance. They opened their second office in Morden, Surrey at the beginning of 2011.

Bhupindar brought to the firm 10 years experience in audit, taxation and accountancy gained at one of the big four firms in London and he now has over 40 years of experience behind him. He has an uncommon blend of professionalism and knowledge that he pairs with personal involvement. His mission is to understand the goals of every new client and then offer them a guiding hand to achieve that goal. He has assembled talented staff of accountants, who carry forward his mission of goal oriented personal and friendly service to clients.

Nasir Shabbir AMIA

Membership: Affiliate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales

Nasir joined the firm in 2002 and very quickly progressed to manage his own portfolio of clients and then onto management and development of the firm. He is now a partner in Chowdhary & Co Morden.

Nasir has a hands on approach and works closely with the clients assisting and guiding them with the expansion and development of their businesses. He has also been involved in the setting up of tax efficient business structures.

He very much has the clients best interest at heart when working with them.

Professional Staff

Mimoune El Asri ACCA affiliate, Masters in Business Administration

Role: Senior Accountant
Qualification: Chartered Certified Accountant

Mimoune joined Chowdhary & Co in May 2012 as a part time trainee accountant, having completed his ACCA studies, initially assisting with payroll, vat matters and bookkeeping. Very soon, he progressed to the role of senior accountant and is now fully responsible for the management of a portfolio of clients servicing their needs from initial meetings to preparation of accounts and different returns, dealing with HMRC and offering advice along the way.

He also specialises in setting up businesses on software like Sage 50, Xero and Clear books etc...

Satbeer Singh ACCA member, Masters in Business Administration

Role: Senior Accountant
Qualification: Chartered Certified Accountant

Satbeer joined Chowdhary & Co as a part time student trainee accountant and has been with the firm since June 2012. He is currently working as senior accountant responsible for smaller clients dealing with accounts preparation, corporation tax returns, self-assessments and VATs. Satbeer also provides direct assistance to Mr Chowdhary on investigations and inheritance tax planning matters.

Deepa Adhikari - ACCA affiliate, Masters in Business Administration

Role: Accountant
Qualification: Chartered Certified Accountant

Deepa started working with Chowdhary & Co since June 2015 and is now responsible for the payroll department of the firm. She also deals with VAT matters, bookkeeping and self-assessment tax returns.

The above professional staff is ably supported by a team of admin staff.

Network

In addition to the above staff, at Chowdhary & Co we also have a network of other professionals, including tax specialists, solicitors, insurance brokers and investment advisors, who are available to serve the needs of businesses and individuals alike. In particular, we have a strong relationship with the local branches of the big four Banks who visit our office and offer advice and finance to our clients.

Chowdhary & Co works in close association with ‘Apex Company Services Ltd’, which operates from the same premises offering bespoke company formation, company secretarial and company restoration services.
